Pedro G. Romero is a researcher, curator, and editor who has also been actively working as an artist since 1985. His practice, rooted in deep intellectual and cultural inquiry, has centered on two key projects since the late 1990s: Archivo F. X. and Máquina P.H. Through these projects, Romero explores the intersections of art, history, and cultural memory, often delving into the complex narratives of iconoclasm and collective identity.

Additionally, he is a pivotal figure in the Independent Platform of Modern and Contemporary Flamenco Studies (PIE.FMC), an initiative dedicated to expanding the study of flamenco by incorporating tools from aesthetics, art history, and cultural studies. His influence extends into the performing arts as the artistic director for renowned choreographer Israel Galván. Romero also collaborates regularly with prominent musicians and artists such as Niño de Elche, Perrate, and Rocio Márquez, contributing to innovative projects that bridge traditional and contemporary forms.
